Our tutor, Karen, was tasked with delivering an “ESOL with customer service” course to a group of Ukranian customers from the Cheshire area. This course was fully delivered online and, as per usual with resettling customers, they were all highly educated.
One, in particular, was a highly skilled, nuclear specialist and had tried, since arriving in the UK, to get a job in a similar line of work. I contacted every agency and every nuclear firm in his area and he has been given the fabulous news that he starts work on 15th August.
We, at Parker Enterprise, never stop being proud of our brave learners who have fled war and still want to obtain jobs to help support themselves and their families.
The feeling, at Parker HQ, is one of jubilation, today! Very happy and this great news, helps encourage the other learners.
