One of our dedicated facilitators, Tracy, has been at the heart of this initiative, delivering engaging, impactful sessions that have made a real difference. With years of experience and an innate ability to connect with young people, Tracy has helped participants develop essential life skills, build confidence, and understand the value of giving back to their community.
A Programme That Works
From the very beginning, Tracy established an incredible rapport with the young people involved. Her sessions kept them engaged, motivated, and empowered to take control of their personal development. As a result of this programme, participants not only gained valuable skills but also chose to continue their journey by volunteering with Didsbury Good Neighbours, extending the impact of their learning into real-world experiences.
A representative from the charity, who has over 20 years of experience in mainstream education as a Special Needs Coordinator and Behaviour Specialist, described Tracy’s approach as “exceptional practice.” The young people in the programme have thrived under her guidance, and the charity itself has seen direct benefits, with some of the group choosing to volunteer and give back to their community.
