PGMgmt and PGTqfe (Teaching Qualification Further Education), Julie has expertise and credentials in entrepreneurship and education, always eager to share her knowledge and empower others to succeed in wellness, employability and business.
Having spent the last 13 years managing her own business interests Julie has come on board at Parker Enterprise as Operations Manager. Her addition to the management team promises to bolster our operations and drive growth.
Amna has a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a background in providing mental health support to people struggling with mental illnesses and learning disabilities. Having previously worked in hospital, community, and tele-counseling settings, she is skilled at assisting people with anxiety, depression, academic stress, and substance abuse, among many others. She is collaborative in her approach towards employability and wellbeing support specific to the needs of the clients.
I have been an ESOL teacher for over 20 years. I am a qualified, registered teacher, and have a Masters’ degree in TESOL from Edinburgh University. I have spent the last 8 years in Taiwan, working in elementary and junior high schools, teaching English and coaching the local teachers in language teaching methods.
I have taught English to students of all age and ability levels. I believe that learning gives people power and choices. My goal as a teacher is to raise learners’ confidence and motivation with interesting and relevant learning activities.

Allyson is a qualified careers adviser with 20 years experience. She first began her career as a Primary Teacher and after 5 years, retrained to qualify in the Career Guidance field. She has extensive experience in working with young people within secondary schools in both Glasgow and Ayrshire in developing their career management skills and supporting them with their career decisions.
I am an English tutor who skilfully combines the precision of data analysis, the effectiveness of transport logistics, the rigour of research methodology, and the art of language. I have a variety of transferable skills from many different sectors and thrive at teaching research methodologies and ESOL, EFL and IELTS. With a background in data analysis, I can generate and test hypotheses, interpret data and apply analytical thinking to enhance students’ learning experiences. Because of my experience in transport management, I can efficiently manage time and resources to ensure that every class is on time and well-organized. In addition, my expertise in research methodology enables me to mentor students in carrying out exhaustive and systematic studies, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Her background includes; welfare rights, finance, disability advocacy, employability skills, IT skills, careers guidance, mental health and wellbeing. Her ideal day is when she has made someone else’s day better.
After working for several multi-national companies for around a decade, I had been working as a lecturer under the hospitality discipline at a further education institution for over 16 years. My journey to attaining certification in teaching ESOL has broadened my horizon and ignited my interest to pursue in this area. As a non-native speaker, I am a natural in empathising my learners, and that also allows me to better help my learners overcome their difficulties in their English language learning. I believe language is imperative for everyone to excel at work and live their lives to the fullest, and I aspire to help people in need to achieve
their life goals.

I have been a tutor for over 10 years, primarily working in a primary school classroom. After completing my BSc in Business Studies, I gained ESOL training and a TEFL certificate. This allowed me to teach English online to children worldwide, balancing my work and family life as a mum of three (two boys and one girl).
Teaching online helped me realise how much I enjoy helping people learn. Growing up in a home where English wasn’t our main language, I understand the challenges my students face. I use this understanding to support and motivate them.

I developed a huge passion for training over 15 years. My experiences have given me the privilege to work with people from the ages of 16 right up to the age of 102! I spent almost 8 years in the Fire Service, delivering Employment, Teamwork and community skills to young people on behalf of the Prince‘s Trust, which is where my roots were originally formed. For the last 3 years I’ve been delivering Employability Skills for adults, I am also an ESOL qualified assessor. I have an enthusiastic personality with a person centred and trauma focused approach with all learners.
John has a background in learning & development, training, coaching and employability projects. He has worked sectors including; non-ministerial government departments, higher education and employability. With past experiences in recruiting, leading people and managing processes John can provide clients with a clear roadmap and effective learning activities to help them achieve their employment related goals.
John is a current CIPD member and currently co-leads the mentoring program for the CIPD in the West of Scotland.
My teaching career began more than 25 years ago and whilst I have taught English at all levels and to all ages, ESOL students have always been my favourite. I really enjoy meeting students from other countries as this enables me to learn about different cultures.
My qualifications include a Degree in Business and a TEFL certificate. In the past I ran my own insurance broking business and was involved in running casinos.
I spent 16 years living and working in Russia, but have also lived in other countries like: Gibraltar, Spain and Portugal. The greatest reward in teaching is having a student thank you for the help you have given.
With a master’s in TESOL and numerous years of experience as an ESOL teacher, combined with my background in interpreting, I bring a deep understanding of the language barriers that many learners face. My work has allowed me to develop effective teaching strategies that cater to the unique needs of students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds This experience has not only enhanced my ability to teach English effectively but has also given me the cultural sensitivity and communication skills necessary to support learners in achieving their language goals.
Asha has dedicated over 30 years to teaching across primary, secondary, and tertiary levels, with a significant focus on Science and EAL/ESOL education. She has always been a passionate advocate for accessible education. More than two decades ago, she founded an educational charity for disadvantaged children, which continues to thrive. Her current passion is bilingual education and she is creates bilingual Somali-English books and videos in her spare time. Although recently retired, Asha remains actively engaged in teaching and education.
Donna is a qualified and experienced secondary school teacher with over 30 years teaching experience. She has worked as a SENCO for many years and is experienced in working with neurodiverse students. She has worked as a youth and community worker and has established homework clubs and Saturday schools. She retrained as a Person-Centred counsellor and has completed courses in equality, diversity and inclusion. She has recently worked in 6th form colleges delivering social and personal development, mental health and wellbeing courses to young people. Here she was able to hone in on her strengths teaching employability skills alongside a careers and wellbeing programme. She is a firm believer in holistic practices where users are encouraged to develop a growth mindset.
