REHIS Emergency First Aid Training Course
This 1-day REHIS accredited course gives candidates a basic understanding of first aid. The course will provide learners with the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, should someone be injured or become ill while at work.
The course is very interactive and gives delegates the hands-on experience to successfully deliver emergency first-aid at their place of work.
The course syllabus covers: –
– Identify the role of the First Aider
– First Aid incidents
– Unconscious casualty
– Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
– Choking casualty
– Wounds and bleeding
– Shock
– Other injuries
On successful completion of the course and assessment the candidate will receive a REHIS certificate valid for 3 years.
The REHIS Emergency First Aid at Work course has been independently rated on the Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework (SCQF) at Level 5 with 1 credit.
