How we work?
Our sessions are delivered at a pace to suit the participant, ensuring that our client led approach is relevant, engaging and informative. Our relaxed yet skilled approach to employability and wellbeing has been described as transformative, with 99% claiming to have increased self-belief and confidence in their progression towards work. Our staff have all faced their own hardships and have lived experience of unemployment and what that entails, meaning that they have an empathy and understanding of the issues the clients we work with face.
We also recognise that we cannot work in isolation and we continue to build relationships with the local authorities, careers service, local colleges, NHS and others within the voluntary sectors. We support their key aim of focussing on creating improved opportunities for all. In particular engaging employers and creating better connectivity to those that can essentially act as a skilled, educated, motivated and able workforce.
We also focus on ensuring that no one is left behind because of equality issues, giving everyone access to the same opportunities. We always endeavour to challenge inequality at all levels.
Where we work?
Working throughout the UK, we source venues in the heart of the communities we work within. This provides us with great flexibility and enables us to reach out to the communities in which we serve. We believe in breaking down barriers to employment and training and therefore deliver our employability within the communities we are working with. We identify suitable venues and believe that we should travel to communities as opposed to the community travelling to us to receive services.
